I'm Tanin.
I build websites and iPad apps for UK businesses, and you deal with me from the first call through to the handover.
How this started
I started out building software and quickly realised the most interesting problems weren't in the code — they were in the industries good software hadn't reached yet. Demolition sites running on clipboards. Advisory firms with outdated web presences. Toastmasters clubs managing meetings over email chains. That gap between what technology could do and what people were actually using is what I work on.
The first one
My first client was Salter Demolition. Their team recorded material audits by hand — notes in a spreadsheet, photos on a phone, matched up afterwards. I built Material Audit: an iPad app where you upload the floor plan, capture materials and photos on the spot, and generate the full report in one tap. It cut their auditing time by more than 5×.
I also built the website for Blackheath Advisors, a board advisory practice run by an experienced governance consultant working with Chairs and CEOs. The brief was something that reflects the calibre of her work and gives prospective clients confidence on the first visit. It went from brief to live in a week.
How I work
You talk to me. I take the brief, write the code, and answer your email. There's nobody in the middle, so nothing gets lost in a handover and nothing sits in someone else's queue. That's the main reason it's quick.
Because it's just me, I build things you aren't stuck with me to run. Sites go on platforms you can maintain yourself, the domain and the accounts end up in your name, and there's no retainer unless you want one. If you stop working with me, nothing stops working.
I specialise in iOS and iPad development — native apps that feel right in your hands and work where you need them, not just where there's WiFi. I'm based in the UK, I keep things lean, and I care about shipping things people actually use.
